Wilson wins it for Boro
Lawrie Wilson's stoppage-time header gave Stevenage's play-off hopes a timely boost as they saw off Oldham 1-0 at the Lamex Stadium.
A poor match seemed destined to finish goalless, but Wilson's header moved his side to within two points of sixth-placed Notts County with two games in hand.
Both teams came reasonably close from distance early on with Oldham's Youssouf M'Changama shooting just over before Stevenage's Michael Bostwick blasted wide.
Boro keeper Chris Day was relieved as his poor goal-kick fell to Tom Adeyemi, but his lob from 30 yards dropped over the crossbar as the first half finished goalless.
The hosts pressed after the break and produced the first real chance of the game as Jordan Slew's through ball found Craig Reid, who was denied by the onrushing Alex Cisak.
But the deadlock was finally broken in the first minute of added time as Darius Charles' cross from the right was met with a diving header by Wilson, who gave Cisak no chance.
