Port Vale 3 Oldham Athletic 2

After some good build up play, Athletic left the field at half time two goals down against Port Vale. McClare and Brooker did the damage with a double hit.


The second half was a different story with the Latics soon pulling one back through Appleby. The goal was a 25 yard stunner into the top corner and then Corazzin hit the equaliser from close in to set up a grand finale.


Vale had the last laugh though when McPhee fired home the
winner from 12 yards in the 81st. minute
