Peterborough United have still not won at home this season after sharing the points in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Oldham Athletic.
Barry Fry's side have failed to win any of their six games at London Road but produced a battling display against the cash-strapped Latics.
Adam Newton volleyed a second minute effort narrowly wide before Dave Farrell blasted a shot over the crossbar.
However, against the run of play Oldham took the lead in the eighth minute when Ernie Cooksey fired John Eyre's cross home.
The goal rocked the hosts but after a nervy spell they equalised in the 21st minute when Leon McKenzie raced on to Andy Clarke's throughball before firing his shot past Les Pogliacomi in the Oldham goal.
The visitors continued to look dangerous after the interval but against the run of play it was the Posh who took the lead in the 50th minute.
It was the lively McKenzie who grabbed the goal again, firing home from close range after Newton's shot had been blocked.
Oldham refused to lie down and almost snatched an immediate equaliser when Danny Boshell headed a good chance over the bar.
They were awarded a penalty in the 57th minute when Dennis Pearce was adjudged to have fouled Boshell and veteran midfielder John Sheridan slotted his spot-kick past Mark Tyler.
Both sides had chances to win the game in the last half-hour but Oldham deserved the point that leaves them in the top half of the Nationwide Division Two table.
