Bury get back to winning ways and pile misery on OldhamBury ended their four-match losing streak in Sky Bet League One with a 1-0 win at strugglers Oldham.A defensive error led to Leon Clarke scoring his 16th goal of the season and extended Oldham's winless home run in the league to 13 games.Bury struck after 10 minutes when Oldham centre-back James Wilson failed to deal with Danny Pugh's high ball, allowing Clarke to steal in behind and shoot home from eight yards.Clarke was also denied by Oldham keeper Joel Coleman before setting up Andrew Tutte, whose volley flashed wide of the far post. For the home side, Jonathan Forte headed off target and debutant Matt Palmer hit a long-range drive which was tipped over by Bury keeper by Ian Lawlor.Lawlor also saved well from Mike Jones, but Bury wasted a clear chance when Clarke failed to capitalise on Coleman's mistake. There was another bad miss from the Shakers on 67 minutes as Tutte, unmarked 10 yards out, crashed his shot against the bar.But they held on comfortably, leaving new Oldham boss John Sheridan without a point from his two games in charge
