The Latics got back to the real business of playing football and put their worries behind them, even if just for a short space of time. They started their Northern Ireland tour at Lisburn Distillery with a decimated 4-4-2 side as follows: Chris Grange, Danny Hall, Marc Tierney, Dean Holden, Will Haining (Captain), Carlos Roca, Danny Boshell, Paul Murray, Josh Low, Glen Robson (Chesham), Scott Vernon, Michael Clegg, Rob Walker, Darren Sheridan, Danny Forde, Kyle Jacobs, Craig Fleming and Ernie Cooksey.

Latics had the best chances with Lisburn limited to only one real chance. Paul Murray (pictured) scored the winning goal in the 36th. minute after Boshell rolled a free kick to him. Murray’s 30 yard drive hit the top corner of the net. It was much the same pattern in the second half with Darren Sheridan and Josh Low having the best chances. Let’s hope the undefeated streak continues throughout the season!
