The Latics have drawn Wolverhampton Wanderers at home in the first round of the FA Cup. There is also the chance that the game will be shown on live TV coverage as the match is considered to be a big attraction. The Latics recently lost 2-0 at Molineaux but manager Lee Johnson is remaining positive over the draw. The match takes place on 9th. November.
Johnson said, “I see it positively. It is a home game and a big game. We will have a go at them, on our own ground under home conditions. I would rather this sort of tie than going away to a non-league team, for example. We know a lot about Wolves and it is effectively another League One match for us.”
