Matty Wolfenden is currently in talks on a new two year contract at Boundary Park. The 19 year old, who scored his first goal for Athletic's senior squad in the play-off semi-final at Bloomfield Road, looks like committing himself to the club that he joined as a 16 year old youth player. He has been a regular in the reserve side this season and has averaged almost a goal a game.
