Winters impresses

On loan Robbie Winters has impressed in training and manager John Sheridan is considering whether to make a move to keep him at Boundary Park. Shez said, “Robbie hasn't played much football recently so he's rusty and a little bit lacking in sharpness. But you can see he's quality. He's very aware of what's around him and he's an excellent player with excellent technique. It's a question of trying to get his sharpness back as soon as possible, but he's doing well. We need to keep looking for that striker because we're picking up one or two injuries and suspensions and we need the squad to be ready for the rest of the journey.”

“First and foremost I like my strikers to work hard. It's a big plus that the two lads who are up there at the moment are doing that for the team. It isn't just about standing in the box and scoring goals. I want all 10 outfield players working hard. I'd also like someone to come in and score 10 goals before the end of the season, although he's probably in the Premiership.”
