Clyde Winjhard has been given the green light by his specialist to resume training and he began the big build up yesterday. Wijnhard has been out of action following an operation to remove floating cartilage from his knee. He had scored 10 goals in his first 12 games for the club but the team has continued to maintain top form in his absence through Carlo Corazzin and Wayne Andrews who took up the gauntlet.
Wijnhard said, “I will see the doctor in Bolton for a second opinion and take it
from there. I would hope to be playing in another week or two, but it would be wrong to take any risks or give myself problems in the future.” The Dutchman will not be rushed back but he hopes to be fit enough to be considered for the
forthcoming FA Cup tie against Burton Albion.
