Windass goes back to Hull

Dean Windass has ended his loan spell and has gone back to Hull City. Not even in the squad at Franchise FC, the striker realised that the loan deal had in reality ended. His 'blog' escapade could not have helped matters and he found himself left out of then managers John Sheridan's plans. Windass is trying to sort the mess out with officials at Hull but he is still technically an Athletic player until the end of the season.
Alan Hardy said, "We are trying to reach an agreement with all three parties (Athletic, Hull and Windass). Under the terms of the loan, he is not allowed to play first-team football for Hull again this season. There may be an opportunity to play reserve-team football for Hull, however, and that is something we are exploring."
