We are pleased to announce that "The Who's Who of Oldham Athletic" will be published in August. Written by club expert Garth Dykes, this comprehensive guide to each Oldham Athletic player since 1907 will be a very welcome addition to every Latics fan's bookcase.
Why are we telling you this now? Because every Oldham fan who pre-orders a copy of the book from the Oldham Athletic Club shop or online will have the opportunity to include their name in the special Roll of Honour section of the book. The book will cost the same (just £19.99 for over 400 pages!), but those who include their name will record their commitment forever. However, pre-orders must be received by the end of June to secure a space in the Roll of Honour.
There are posters and leaflets around the concourse and club shop and details on the club website (www.oldhamathletic.co.uk), but we are concerned that many Latics fans may not be aware of this amazing opportunity to be part of Oldham Athletic's history. The book is due for publication in August 2008 and we at Oldham FootyMad are running a competition offering you a space in the Roll of Honour and a copy of the book when it is published later in the year.
