He said, "I want to stay and I've never said that I am looking to leave as I enjoy working with Shez. But if I got the chance to play in the Championship, which is a better league and which would be better for me financially, then I would be silly to turn it down."
"I have just returned from holiday and hope to sit down with my agent in the next couple of days to discuss what is on offer. I would have liked to sort out the matter before I went away, but clubs seem to have been holding back as there has been little transfer activity so far in the lower leagues. With contracts running to the end of June, I expect things to liven up."
