TTA to reveal "the full facts" about Porter?

It looks like the gloves could be coming off in the heavyweight Latics v Porter bout. TTA are now threatening to reveal "the full facts" about Chris Porter's controversial move to Motherwell. Much has already been said from both sides but it is obvious that the Latics owners are still furious about the way they were deprived of a possible £700,000 payout from their investment, and are still considering legal action. They claim that Porter and his agent gave a verbal agreement not make a cross border transfer and they reneged on that agreement.

Simon Corney (pictured) thought carefully and said, "I can't go into detail at this stage because there's the possibility of legal proceedings. But we are seriously considering going public with all the details, all the full facts, of what happened in the Chris Porter affair. It was an unpleasant experience, and the fans would understand why we were so unhappy about the way it was conducted. The Chris Porter affair is not something we are prepared to just forget about. There were verbal contracts and we are still in touch with our legal people."

The trouble is that a "verbal contract isn't worth the paper it's written on" and could take some proving. Stay tuned for more installments of this never ending saga.
