Trust Oldham candidates elected

Trust Oldham has elected their candidates after voting was completed as follows -

Chairman: Peter Heginbotham who has been a supporter since 1960 and former solicitor to club. Mr. Heginbotham has several high profile appointments and is a former Chairman of Glossop North End FC. He has undertaken free work for both the club and the Trust;

Finance/Membership/Treasurer: Mike Maloney who has been a Latics supporter for 40 years and a season ticket holder for past 20 years. He currently works as Financial Controller for Vernons Pools Limited. Mr. Maloney is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has experience in maintaining strict financial controls;

Marketing: James Whittingham who has supported the Latics for around 40 years and currently works as the Advertisement Manager at the Oldham Chronicle. He believes that the Trust’s objectives will prove to be invaluable
for the future of Oldham Athletic;

Personnel: Yvonne Widall who is currently the Personnel Office Manager of Education and Culture at Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council. She is also a School Governor at Alexandra Park School. Yvonne has a strong desire to be part of a well run football club;

Information Technology: Darren Ratcliffe is the former webmaster of the Official web site and currently works as an Analyst Developer for LBM (Software Solutions). Darren hopes that the club will keep the fans informed about what is going on and will strive to avoid transparency;

Fundraising: Barry Owen is a life long supporter and retired Superintendent of the Greater Manchester Police. He has also been a school governor for last 11 years and is totally committed to the aims and objectives of the new organisation;

General: Diane Mellor has been a supporter for over 30 years and was a past Member of the Football Supporters’ Association and an active member of SAFE. Diane is currently an Account and Development Manager of the Learning and Skills Council.

The following existing Directors are also reappointed -
Alex Metcalfe who is a founder Member of the Trust idea for Oldham.
Dave Hudson who is a Committee Member of the Oldham Athletic Supporters’ Association.
Dave Holt who is a Bank Manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland and also the Bank Manager to the Trust’s account(s).
