Athletic’s trip to Ibiza is definitely on after new boss Ronnie Moore revealed that he is not happy that the trip would be the best preparation for next season’s campaign. The club had committed to be involved in the Ibiza San An Cup and Barry Chaytow said, “Due to media reports there has been some confusion as to whether the trip would continue. However we would like to make our position clear that Oldham Athletics participation in this event will go ahead. We are, and remain fully committed to the project. The event itself was planned before Ronnie Moore's appointment and the club has made a commitment to send our players and that is what we will do.”
