I'll be trying to keep up to date with things in his absence if you will allow a non-Latics fan the opportunity. Yes I support another club but I like to think of myself as a football supporter.
I have visited Boundary Park on numerous occasions and I have seen my own side win, lose and draw there and I want to be able to visit again in the future and see us win there again.
Don't think the football community doesn't care, I can promise you that we are rooting for you and all hoping that a future can be secured, surely no genuine football fan wants to see the sort of problems you are having at your club just now.
So if you will permit a rival fan to step in for a week whilst the editor is away, an editor with just one thing on his mind I can promise you, then I hope I can bring you some good fortune.
Keep the faith, do what you can and please support your club and trust just as much as you can. And as for me, I just hope I can announce some good news for you at some time during the next week.
