David Dunn has begun his new role as interim manager, the fourth consecutive manager without experience. Chairman Simon Corney is hoping that this time it works out. Assisting Dunn is Dean Holden and newcomer Keith Brown who will help with first team training. Dunn knows Brown from his time at Blackburn Rovers, whom he left to join Accrington Stanley as academy manager.
Dunn said of Brown, “He is a really good coach, really enthusiastic and we share a lot of same opinions on football. We were apprentices together at Blackburn Rovers so we have the same background and I think he will be a good help to both myself and Dean.”
