Les Pogliacomi has not yet informed Athletic of his decision regarding his future at Boundary Park. After the signing of Mark Crossley it appears that his best hope is to be Crossley's understudy but that could not be enough. It is rumoured that he is considering moving back to Australia and a quote from the Alelaide Now does nothing to dispel this rumour. The Now reported, "Ex-Adelaide City keeper Les Pogliacomi, who stands at 196cm. and is currently playing for Oldham Athletic in England's first division (third tier), could be an Adelaide United shot-stopper next year. Pogliacomi, 31, is contemplating a return to Adelaide - the birthplace of his wife Lia - at the end of his contract.
