Chris Taylor told of his feelings after Athletic's win in the "intimidating" Den. He said, "Obviously the win was the objective before the game, but I don't think we expected it to be as intense as it was. At the end of the day Millwall battled really hard, but we conceded sloppy goals and we know we can do better. They upped it straight after the sending off, and the players and the crowd were up. Then we dropped too deep after they equalised and it's two-one at half time."

"Coming back in the second half is good whether it's against ten or eleven men, because teams can often go on to win after they've had a man sent off. But the lads produced a good performance in the second half and got a great result."

Taylor also explained the reason why Neal Eardley was shown his second yellow card He said, "The referee told me the decision was made because Neal had enticed their fans. I was celebrating with him and the other players, and the ref said he'd gone over and made a gesture to their supporters."
