Chris Swailes' foot injury is likely to put him on the sidelines for up to twelve weeks. Swailes who has been plagued with injuries ever since joining Athletic and the fans have seen very little of the player who was voted captain and was going to lead the team to glory. His latest injury will need another operation after he fractured his heel in his first day of pre-season training. The operation will take place on Friday and will consist of having a a metal screw inserted into his heel. The operation is not a common procedure, hence the long recovery time.
