Latics captain Chris Swailes is back on the injured list as his fractured heel has now flared up once again. The same injury kept him out for five months earlier in the season. Swailes will definitely miss Friday's game at Hartlepool and will probably be out of action for another couple of weeks. Ronnie Moore commented, "He's feeling a lot of pain around his heel and ankle, which is a disappointing blow for everybody. Our back three has been settled and playing well, but we're looking at another fortnight for Chris. Hopefully it won't be any longer. The good thing is Terrell Forbes slotted in and did quite well. Like Richard Butcher a while ago, Forbes is trying to win over the crowd. We've also got Gareth Owen back there so, fingers crossed, we'll be able to get through okay."
