Injury jinxed James Wesolowski is to have surgery on his plagued injured shoulder, but he is delaying the procedure until the end of the season. He has dislocated his shoulder twice in recent games and the operation is inevitable and will hopefully repair the damage once and for all.
Paul Dickov said, “James could have had the operation straightaway and had a chance to be back for Wembley had we beaten Chestefield. James wanted to put his body on the line and that is the sort of mentality you want. He went out against Chesterfield knowing his shoulder could pop out at any time, but didn't hold back and his attitude was top class. There is a chance it could pop out again at any time, but the specialist says he could play in every game. James does not want to take the easy way out and have an operation now.”
