Dutch defender Stefan Stam has signed a new one year contract with Athletic. The 26 year old was out of contract and decided on the last day to remain at Boundary Park for another season.Manager John Sheridan told the official website, "Obviously I'm very pleased to welcome Stefan back to Boundary Park. He was excellent at the heart of the defence last season and is a valued member of the squad."
