After the news that Sterfan Stam would be fit to play in the season opener when the Latics entertain Swansea City, he could now be ruled out yet again.The defender played at Rotherham in the reserves game earlier today but was forced off the field yet again after only 20 minutes of the first half with a recurrance of the same problem.
