The Latics new stadium plans remain on hold as expected after last night's meeting. The committee voted to delay a decision pending more traffic reports from the Highways Agency. A disappointed Alan Hardy told the official website, "After submitting our application seven months ago it is disappointing not to have a decision by now. The Councillors on the planning committee had it in their power to approve the plans subject to the Highway Agency lifting their holding order which would certainly have saved us some time, but this decision now puts more pressure on the club and costs us a lot of money every week the decision is delayed."
