Allan Smart and Paul Murray (pictured) have appeared in court to face charges of a Public order offence and of assaulting a Police Officer. They have both been remanded on bail pending further investigation and are scheduled to appear again on Monday 17th June. The charges were brought in relation to an alleged incident which took place on April 24th. outside Chadderton police station, apparently over an argument with a taxi driver. As part of the conditions of bail, the two must not enter the Oldham Metropolitain Borough area between the hours of 7:00pm. and 7:00am.
