John Sheridan has admitted that he is delighted to have brought in new blood to bolster his teams push for promotion. Shez brought in Liverpool's Mikel Roque, Plymouth Argyle's Hasney Aljofree and Cardiff City striker Luigi Glombard.

Shez said, "I think it was important we brought some fresh faces in. It'll boost the squad, boost the team and boost the atmopshere. I hope the fans are excited. The final run-in is massive for us, and it's vital we get one or two wins under our belt as quickly as possible."

"Hasney was a young kid when I played in Bolton's first team. He's gone on to have a good career and he's a 'Steady Eddie' player with a great left foot. He has played at a higher level and has just that little bit more quality and he's going to help the young kids around him."

"Mikel's one for the future but for an 18 or 19 year old to play in Liverpool's first team is some achievement. He can play in a few positions and he's got great potential, so hopefully it'll help him get used to the English game. In training you can see he's a Liverpool type player, he does things nice and easy. However, I wouldn't expect too much or say to people he's going to set the world alight, but he's a nice player to have in and around the place and is always in the right place at the right time, plus he's a nice kid."

"Luigi's a young kid. He's got great potential but I don't know too much about him. I've spoken to two or three people who know the game and they highly recommended him, saying he's a great player. I looked at the squad the other day and we look nice and strong. It's going to make my job harder because I'll have to leave people out and I haven't been able to do that because I haven't had many bodies to pick from."
