John Sheridan has been charged by the Football Association for breaking FA rule E3 - using abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official - during Latics' 3-0 defeat at Port Vale last week. Sheridan was sent to the stands in the 75th. minute by match referee Mr. Beeby. If Shez is found guilty by the FA Disciplinary Committee, he could be fined and/or given a touchline ban. He can request a personal hearing to appeal the accusation.
