The transfer window opens very soon and manager John Sheridan has reiterated that he does not want to lose any of his up and coming youngsters. Already, rumours are being banded around that Neal Eardley (pictured), Chris Porter and Chris Taylor are all being watched by bigger clubs. On the contrary, Shez has stated that he wants to strengthen his team.
Sheridan said, "I'm going to try my hardest to bring a couple of players in and I've got one or two people in mind. It's important we add some more strength to the squad ahead of the important time coming up. Everyone knows I'd like to bring in a striker, not necessarily to play in place of Porter, Warne or Chris Hall, but to give us strength in depth."
