Sheridan delighted with Windass contribution

John Sheridan has confirmed that he sees new signing Dean Windass as being an integral part of the Latics push for promotion. After an impressive debut against Hartlepool he told the official website, "You can see Dean's quality out there. His awareness gets him into dangerous areas and allows him to create space for himself. We will benefit from his experience - particularly the younger players - and hopefully he can help us get to where we want to go."
