The Latics all but secured safety with a 0-0- draw at home to Coventry on Monday. They now sit five points clear of the bottom four with three matches remaining but boss Lee Johnson is still taking nothing for granted. The point gained was another success as the team completed a seven match unbeaten run.
Johnson said, “It’s another important game [at Carlisle] and nothing is done yet. It is a bit frustrating and it would be tough on us if we did end up being in trouble. There are a few teams below us and we have got to go to Carlisle and get a win. We are 85 per cent there, but anything can happen in football.”
