SAFE goes 'on hold'

The fans supporters' organisation SAFE has decided to officially put their activities 'on-hold' due to changed circumstances at the club.

Carl Marsden, a driving force behind the fans group, said, “Since the arrival of Chris Moore at Boundary Park it is fair to say the sense of urgency that drove supporters on in SAFE's early days has been lost. That is entirely understandable. But SAFE has set high standards in the past and do not want to do anything that would not be worthy of the organisation's reputation. We will still be there to represent supporters and the club if the need to do so presents itself again in the future.”

SAFE was instrumental in persuading the old board of directors to put their shares on sale, the arrival of the new Chairman, and the very successful SAFE Days.
