After two draws so far for Brian Talbot, he will be hoping that those draws can be turned into a much needed victory. However a number of injuries won’t help the cause. Bristol City are 3rd in the league, a point behind 2nd placed QPR with a game in hand and only a point behind.

Previous Match

Oldham came out of this game with a fantastic point. Oldham maybe deserved more from the game as they out played their opponents for vast amounts of the game. Bristol went infront on 35 minutes from a header from Butler but Oldham equalised on 53 minutes through Calvin Zola, his first for the club and a superb strike it was from the Newcastle loanee.

Team News

Chris Killen is the latest casualty in the Oldham squad. He pulled up in the Barnsley game and was forced off with a hamstring tear; he will be out for 4-6 weeks. He joins the injury list along with Matty Appleby, Chris Grange, David Beherall and Danny Hall. Wes Wilkinson is a doubt for the game but still added to the squad, he injured his knee in a reserve game in midweek. Oldham only have 3 strikers available with one being a doubt. Zola could make a comeback if Wilkinson fails to make it. Brian Talbot has placed offers for 3 players, two being from his former club Rushden, Paul Underwood and Rodney Jack and another unnamed striker from a Premiership club but it looks unlikely any will be here before the game tomorrow.

Aaron Brown and Kevin Amankwaah will definitely be out for the rest of the season. Tommy Doherty is out with a knee injury and Matthew Hill will have a fitness test before the game. Joe Burnell looks likely to replace Doherty in midfield to give the side more bite and strength.
