Players sweat it out

Athletic's retained list should be revealed after Saturday's game against QPR. Players with concerns could be Paul Rickers who is out of contract in the summer and Scott McNiven who has playing on a week-to-week contract.


Wadsworth also has to decide whether to keep the Argentinian trialist Alejandro Strelau or not. The 22-year-old Argentinian signed on loan until the end of the season but he may have killed his chances of a permanent contract when he foolishly got sent off in a reserve game after two bookable offences.
