When Scott Spencer went to Everton last year, Athletic insisted in a 20% sell on clause as they still have in in former Centre of Excellence player Micah Richards when he went to Manchester City. Now, England player Richards is expected to be sold for in excess of £15 million and a similar sell on clause for Philliskirk is expected.
Philliskirk on way to Premiership?
15 year old Danny Philliskirk, the son of Athletic's youth development officer Tony, is expected to be moving out of Boundary Park and up to the Premiership. Both Chelsea and Bolton Wanderers are showing interest in the talented youngster and a big money move could be on the cards. Both teams have put in offers for the young striker and a figure of £200,000 is expected for the player who recently signed up to become a Boundary Park trainee for next season.
