Perth Glory of Australia are interested in James Wesolowski, the 26-year-old midfielder who was voted player of the season. Lee Johnson has made Wesolowski what they consider to be a fair an offer, which is affordable by the club, but is resigned to the fact that he could be leaving. Weso previously played for the A-League club so it is a serious option for him. There are rumours that Perth are also interested in ex-Latics' favourite Neil Kilkenny, who currently plays for Preston.
Johnson said, “We are probably looking at Weso not signing now. It isn’t definite, but his agent is playing hardball and we are set where we are. I don’t hold out too much hope. It isn’t definite he won’t be staying, but the chances were 50-50 and have drifted to 70-30.”
