Director Barry Owen held an unscheduled public forum in the main stand after he was admonished by angry fans in the paddock, following the disappointing home defeat to Bradford City. It carried on from a recent radio interview with Darren Kelly and Owen, when Owen was accused of a lack of ambition after declaring that Athletic would find it very difficult to compete in the Championship if they went up.
Fans were also upset with the formation of playing with only one front runner at home. Fans expect a more attacking team with flair and it has failed to transpire, and is compounded with a poor scoring record as the team have failed to score more than one goal in a game. The fans are understandably frustrated and want more but can the manager deliver?
