Ormerod goes home

Brett Ormerod has returned to Preston North End after picking up an injury in training. The on loan player was included in the squad for the FA Cup tie at Whaddon Road on Saturday but during Thursday's training session it was revealed that he had broken a toe, although the information was kept quiet until after the game at Cheltenham.

Ormerod will undergo treatment on the injury back in Preston and the treatment will last until his loan preiod has expired. The player made just two starts and three substitute appearances in his one month loan period.
