Oldham Athletic v Bolton Wanderers, pre-match preview
Last updated : 27 July 2004 By Cory Hazlehurst
The squads have been named for tonight’s friendly at Boundary Park between Oldham Athletic and Bolton Wanderers. It sounds like both managers will field their strongest eleven, which will mean we will see just how much Oldham have progressed so far this pre-season.
Latics’ gaffer Brian Talbot has said that many of the first choice team will be playing 90 minutes, in order to give them a thorough work out in time for the season’s opener.
Bolton’s line-up, according to the Oldham Athletic website, includes new signings Radhi Jaidi, Gary Speed and Michael Bridges.

Oldham’s team should be their strongest XI, according to Talbot. Trialist 'keeper Danny Forde is also expected to feature tonight. This could be the same team that played against Leeds on Friday, which was:

I echo the words for Oldham's friendly against Leeds. Let's hope the lads give a good account of themselves. If Oldham can give a credible performance against one of the Premiership's better teams, they can beat anyone in League One this season.
The game kicks off at 7.45 tonight. Tickets are £12 for adults and £6 for concessions.
