Dutch winger Queensy Menig is the latest player to join the Latics. He has signed a one-year loan from French Ligue 1 side Nantes and at 19 years of age he was a regular in the Jong Ajax side. He also cracked 11 goals in 30 appearances in Holland. He has been at PEC Zwolle on loan for two years where he scored 15 goals in 66 appearances. His form earned him a lucrative move to play under Claudio Ranieri at Ligue 1 side Nantes. Menig has been capped by the Netherlands five times from the under 16s through to the under 21s team.
Menig commented, “It feels good to be here finally and I’m looking forward to showing the fans what I can do. England is a big country to play football in and now I have the chance to show everyone what I am made of. I can take players on, I am a quick player and I want to help the team as much as I can.”
