Paul Murray is making excellent progress from injury and may be only five weeks away from playing in the first team. After his knee injury it was expected that he would miss most of this season but he is well ahead of schedule. A delighted Iain Dowie explained, “We are looking at a three-week programme for Paul’s recovery and rehabilitation and a further two weeks of build-up work like the other lads had in pre-season. Paul Murray’s return will be like having a new signing as he is an important player in the club’s future.”
