More players return

Two of Athletic’s frozen out players have returned to Boundary Park this week. Adam Griffin is back from Chester, where he made only one appearance as substitute, as it is thought that he would benefit more from the return to the
Latics.
Stuart Balmer (pictured) is the other player and has just spent two months at Boston United and made eight appearances from the league’s newest club. No offer from Boston was forthcoming and Balmer would probably have turned down any such offer in any case.
