Chris Moore has stepped down as Chairman of the Latics and has accepted the position of Honourary President of Oldham Athletic Football Club. The offer of Honourary President came as a reward to Moore’s services to the Latics over the past two years. It was his decision to focus on other business commitments that have reluctantly forced him to step down. He will perform a joint role with existing Club President Geoffrey Butterworth. Moore was quick to emphasise that his commitment to the Club has not diminished. The hunt for a new Chairman who will continue his good work will begin immediately.
