Moore rumours dispelled

Athletic boss Ronnie Moore has squashed all rumours that he will be making a dramatic return to his old club Rotherham when he said, "I have no intention of going anywhere. It is just ridiculous. I already have a job here, and that's to take Oldham up. Why would I want to go anywhere? I have good backing of the owners and the players and we are all focusing on promotion."

Former Rotherham boss Mick Harford has been offered training facilities at Boundary Park but just to "keep his eye in." He will be self financing although he may take some of the coaching sessions with the Latics players.
