Moore disappointed at "dropped points"

Ronnie Moore was disappointed with the Latics after they "dropped two points" in the draw at Chesterfield on Saturday. Moore reckoned that the game should have been over befeor Chesterfield had even scored. Moore said, "We had enough opportunities and if we had got a second goal we could have gone on to score three or four. It was two points thrown away and that was very disappoinintg, but the effort, commitment and passing was there and I have no problems with that. We looked good going forward, but we have to stop conceding silly goals. How many times have I said that?"
"It has cost us around 13 points and we have to kill teams off when you are only 1-0 up. We got undone by a set-piece yet again and if we had held on, which we should have done, we would have been just two points behind Chesterfield who have had a tremendous run. That shows how close this league is, it's wide open. We are proving to be difficult to beat, but it would be nice to turn some of the draws into wins. We are now on 30 points and we want to get out of it a lot quicker than we did in the 20's. Until they scored I thought there was only one side going to win it."
