McGuire moves up in PFA

Former Latics player Mick McGuire has been appointed as Primary Deputy Chief Executive of the P.F.A. Mick has been involved with the Association for 21 years, 5 years as a member of the PFA Management Committee and 16 years working as Assistant Chief Executive.


He joined the Latics in 1985 and helped to guide Athletic away from the relegation zone but his16 year career was finally ended by injury. McGuire also played for Coventry, Norwich and Barnsley.
