Rod McDonald, who is currently on loan at Nantwich Town, has renewed his loan deal until the end of the season.
The teenage defender has just completed a month at Nantwich after previously being on loan at Stafford Rangers.
McDonald was signed by the Latics last summer after being released by Stoke City.
