Chief executive Alan Hardy has admitted the the club may have to leave the town if they want a new stadium after the Charity Commission rejected their plans. Hardy said, “Just what we're going to do now I've no idea and it does look like we may to look at other options outside of Oldham. I want to stay in Oldham but if Oldham can't accommodate us then we will have to look elsewhere.”
“We've been looking at this relocating to a new ground or rebuilding Boundary Park now for seven years. We need to raise the funds to build a new stadium and to raise the finds we've got to sell Boundary Park because we haven't got the money to redevelop here. We've got to find a solution to it and me and the rest of the board will be working hard to find that solution."
