Latics to appear on TV

Athletic will receive a £30,000 boost to their coffers when they entertain Port Vale as the game is scheduled to be televised live by Sky. The game had already been brought forward due to England’s clash in Turkey and will now kick-off at 12.30pm.
The last time the Latics were live on TV was against Burton Albion and Cardiff last season, both away games. It is six years since Sky last visited Boundary Park and as they are at home they will receive £30,000 instead of the £10,000 allocated for away teams.
