Athletic are to appeal the sending off of goalkeeper David Knight who was sent off for handball against Carlisle on Sunday. Sky Goals looked at the controversial decision on Monday's programme and Judge Chris Kamara's team of Dion Dublin, Joe Royle and Paul Ince unanimously pronouncing Knight 'not guilty'. The host of the show Rob McCaffrey appealed to referee Mr. Salisbury to "do the decent thing and rescind the red card." If the red card is overturned, Knight will avoid a ban and play against Bournemouth. The hearing will be on Thursday 31st. August.
